Cross-country skiing & Biathlon
The Puster valley is the paradise in South Tyrol for cross-country skiers and biathlon athletes. The 15-km loipe in Reischach, close to Martinerhof Hotel, leads you through wonderful wintery countryside at the foot of the Kronplatz. Around Bruneck, in the Taufer Ahrn, Antholz, Gsieser and Upper Puster valleys, you will find further loipes for classic style and skating cross-country skiing.
The annual Biathlon World Cup in the Antholz valley is a special event. Round about the South Tyrol arena you can follow in the footsteps of the world’s elite through the loipes and also take part in a Biathlon trial course.
